Mr., Mrs. Harold Fox observe 50th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Fox, Montoursville, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary April 10, 2013.
They were married by the Rev. Charles Heim in Williamsport. They are members of Fairfield United Methodist Church, Montoursville.
Mrs. Fox, the former Eleanor Pentz, is a native of Montoursville. She is the daughter of the late Stella and Earl Pentz. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1950, and from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, in 1954. She retired in 1986 as a farmer, Cogan Station.
Mr. Fox, a native of Williamsport, is the son of the late Cora and Harold Fox Sr. He graduated from Montoursville Area High School in 1953 and served in the Army Reserve for 22 years. He retired in 1986 as a farmer, Cogan Station, and also retired in 1995 as a truck driver.
They are the parents of two daughters, Carol Mundrick and Joyce Johns, and a son, David, all of Cogan Station.
There are eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a gathering at 12:30 p.m. April 14, with family and friends, will be held at Fairfield United Methodist Church.
