Mr., Mrs. Woodley observe 65th anniversary
Edith “Eloise” (Holtzinger) and Harold Woodley, of South Williamsport, will observe their 65th wedding anniversary on Aug. 1, 2018.
They were married by the Rev. Heiser at St. Paul Calvary Church, Williamsport.
Mrs. Woodley, a native of Williamsport, is the daughter of the late Edith and Lewis T. Holtzinger Sr. She graduated from Williamsport Area High School in 1951. She worked at Bell Telephone before becoming a homemaker and seamstress.
Mr. Woodley, a native of Muncy, is the son of the late Grace and Albert Woodley. He attended Muncy High School. He served in the Navel Reserve. He retired from ConRail in 1995 after 43 1/2 years of service.
They are the parents of a daughter, Debra L. (Kent) Young, of South Williamsport; and three sons, Harold (Doug) and (Maureen) Woodley, of Utah, Dwight (Amy) Woodley, of South Williamsport, and David (Cheryl) Woodley, of South Williamsport.
There are 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, their children will host a dinner.
