MR., MRS. STAHL

Jonnie L. (Miller) and James Stahl, of Muncy, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 17, 2018.

They were married by the Rev. Jack R. Gardner at Christ Lutheran Church, Montgomery.

They are members of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Muncy.

Mrs. Stahl, a native of Williamsport, is the daughter of the late Freda (Yocum) and John L. Miller. She graduated from Montgomery Area High School in 1963 and from Lock Haven University in 1968. She received a master’s degree from Bloomsburg University. She retired in 2005 from the Milton Area School District at the White Deer Elementary School as an second grade elementary teacher after 36 years of service.

Mr. Stahl, a native of Montgomery, is the son of the late Emelene (Widell) and F. Richard Stahl. He graduated from Montgomery Area High School in 1960. He served in the Army from 1964-1966 and in the Vietnam War from August 1965 to February 1966. He retired in 2004 from Fairfield Manufacturing as a machinist.

They are the parents of one son, Christopher J. Stahl (Samantha), of Haverton.

There are two grandsons.

In honor of their anniversary, a luncheon cruise on Seneca Lake, New York, is being planned.
