Mr., Mrs. Bilby observe 60th anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bilby, South Williamsport observed their 60th wedding anniversary Nov. 8, 2018.
They were married by the Rev. Robert Green at First Church of Christ6 Disciples, where they are members.
Mrs. Bilby, the former Connie M. Maneval, is a native of South Williamsport. She is the daughter if the late Mildred and Raymond Maneval. She graduated from South Williamsport High School in 1958 and retired in 1998 as a Blending Supervisor for the Tetley Tea Co. in Williamsport, where she was employed for 37 years. She is employed by South Williamsport Area School District and South Williamsport Borough as a substitute paraprofessional, clerical and Crossing Guard.
Mr. Bilby, a native of Cammal, is the son of the late Tyson and Ella Bilby Miller. He graduated from Jersey Shore High School in 1956 and retired from Schneider Valley Farms Dairy in 1999, after 34 years as a route driver, and just recently completed 19 years as a school bus driver for Susquehanna Transit for South Williamsport School District.
They are the parents of a son, Raymond A. Bilby, and a daughter, Cindy Weber. They have four grandchildren.
