Announcement has been made of the engagement of Bethany Stroup, of Montoursville, and Ryan Young, of Muncy.

A September 2018 wedding is being planned.

Stroup is the daughter of Roseanne and Timothy Stroup, of Montoursville. She graduated from Montoursville Area High School and Misericordia University. She is employed by Genesis Rehab Services as an Occupational Therapist.

Young is the son of Christine and Frederick Young, of Jersey Shore. He graduated from Jersey Shore Area High School and Pennsylvania College of Technology. He is employed by Construction Specialties as a Product Technical Support Associate.
