‘Demo Boss’ to premiere on WVIA-TV
WVIA will premiere a new reality based program called “Demo Boss” at 9 p.m. Thursday. The demolition business is a $3 billion dollar a year industry. In the first of two 30-minute episodes, witness the demolition of a landmark bank in Plains Township including the removal and recovery of an antique vault and check out the world’s largest free flying flag. In the second episode see the demolition of the Brodart Building in Williamsport, a large industrial complex spanning a whole city block. The complex in served as a silk mill in the 1800’s and later became a furniture factory.
The two episodes of “Demo Boss” were produced by VIA Studios Global, a division of WVIA Public Media and are part of the WVIA Business Journal, which highlights local businesses and showcases the stories of the people behind them in Northeastern Pennsylvania and the Central Susquehanna Valley.
The series follows the story of Joe and Suzi Shea and the employees of Shea Demolition as they navigate the many challenges and obstacles of the demolition business while having fun and giving back to the community.
Encores of the series will air at 3 p.m. October 13 and 2:30 p.m. October 14 on WVIA-TV.
