United Commercial Travelers of America, Williamsport Council 350, announced that it will sponsor a safety poster contest for public, private and parochial school students and for people with intellectual disabilities.

The contest is part of an international competition being held by UCT councils throughout the United States and Canada.

Posters should be on 22-by 28-inch four-ply poster board. Those promoting any type of safety are eligible. The deadline to enter the contest is April 26. Judging will be conducted in three divisions according to ability level.

The winning posters will receive monetary prizes and advance to a regional competition in Erie in May.
