How many times have you had a problem deciding how much spaghetti to cook for your friends or family?
Now you don’t have to belabor that decision because if you make a little extra, there are plenty of things you can do with what is leftover.
Mozzarella Spaghetti is just one of those culinary afterthoughts that will please almost anybody.
Place your leftover spaghetti in a baking pan coated on the bottom with just enough sauce to cover the entire area. Add spaghetti to the pan and spread it to cover the bottom area of the pan. Sprinkle the top generously with shredded mozzarella cheese as desired. Top with ample sauce to cover entirely.
Bake at least 20 minutes at 400 degrees.
Serve and enjoy immediately with good, hard-crust Italian bread and a salad.
Since this is a type of casserole, you may make your mozzarella spaghetti in individual deep bowls, or you can be inventive and add sliced meatballs or other items along with different herbs and spices. Baking time remains the same.
