The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will hold a series for family members, partners and friends of individuals with major depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and borderline personality disorder.

A free educational 12-week series of classes begins April 1 and will run on Monday evenings, 6:30 to 9 p.m. through June 24, at the Sharwell Building, 200 East St.

The course is taught by trained volunteer family members who know what it is like to have a loved one with a serious mental illness in the family. Registration is required.
