Watsontown Health and Rehab to hold basket raffle
WATSONTOWN – The employees of Watsontown Health and Rehab Center have come together in support of one of their own.
Esther Lester, a former employee of Watsontown Health and Rehab Center has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer and the employees are doing a basket raffle to help Lester with expenses.
The baskets are on display at the Watsontown Health and Rehab Center, 245 E. Eight St.
Tickets are open to the public and are available at the reception desk.
Two tickets for $1, 12 for $5 and 30 for $10.
Baskets will be on display from now through March 19. The drawings for the winners will take place on March 20.
Baskets include, night at the movies, provided by the business office; chocolate, provided by the nursing staff; pampering with wine and spa, provided by admissions and Social Services; gourmet cookies and coffee, provided by dietary staff; coffee, teas and nuts, provided by marketing; wine and cheese picnic basket, provided by therapy and MDS; wine and pasta, provided by administrator, human resources and scheduler; and tools and toolbox, provided by maintenance.
