Montgomery House Library holds events

McEWENSVILLE – The Montgomery House Library had a school bus from Murray Transportation come to their Preschool Story Time on May 17. They read “The Bus for Usby” by Suzanne Bloom, as part of PA’s One Book, Every One Child program. After hearing stories and activities related to riding on a bus, they were given the opportunity to ride on a school bus and practice what they learned.

The library also had a craft stand at the Turbotville Elementary School fair on May 10 with a drawing for gummy worms. The gummy worms were designated as the prize to coincide with the summer program theme “Dig Into Reading.”

Ivy Magargle, 2, of Turbotville was the winner of the gummy worms.
