Kiwanis Club of Jersey Shore inducts new member
The Kiwanis Club of Jersey Shore Area inducted a new member at its meeting on June 11. Mike Lundy, club president, sponsored Leroy Wion for membership. The induction ceremony was conducted by Paul Miller, membership chairperson.
The club is interested in meeting and talking to people who are interested in service to communities in and around the Jersey Shore area.The club’s meetings are held at 6:15 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month in the board room of the Jersey Shore Hospital, near the cafeteria. More information on membership can be obtained from any member or by attending a meeting. Dinner will be offered at no cost to a prospective new member.
Kiwanis International is dedicated to helping children around the world and in each community, as well as other local concerns in the Jersey Shore area.
