Teen advances in Miss Cinderella competition

Calista Celine “CC” Trotter, an eighth grade student in Northwestern Lehigh School District, won the title of Pennsylvania’s Miss Cinderella Teen 2013-14.

The state competition was held May 25 through 27 at Seven Spring Resort, Pittsburgh. Girls from all over the state competed for the title of Miss Cinderella.

The girls had to qualify to compete at the state competition by winning the overall title from their local Cinderella pageant.

Trotter qualified when she won the overall title in February held in Williamsport. This moved her onto the state title, which she obtained in May.

Trotter will compete for the international Cinderella title in Las Vegas tomorrow through Friday in the following categories: interview, talent, casual wear and formal wear.

Her talent is a baton and gymnastic routine to the music of “Girl on Fire,” which was choreographed by Phillips FancyFootwork Dance and Baton Studio.

The studio is owned by Trotters grandmother, Marsha Phillips.
