Ross Library annual book sale opens today

LOCK HAVEN – Community volunteers have come together to help with the setup of the annual Ross Library book sale that begins today and will run from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. There are large print books, westerns, science fiction, history, war, religion, cookbooks, art and many paperbacks. Books inside the library have special prices, but the majority of books are in the 50 cents to $1 price range with $5 a bag on Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For those who cannot make the sale this weekend, the library will keep the books on the patio for one more week.

“The book sale would not happen without the support and help of our community volunteers,” said Diane Whitaker, director. “A special thanks goes to Holly Eisaman who spearheaded the sale this year with background help from Germaine Weaver, past book sale coordinator for many years.”
