James V. Brown Library to offer steps to flu-free living

Those interested in learning about how to live a healthy, flu-free life have the opportunity to do so at an upcoming lecture at the James V. Brown Library. It will be held 6 p.m. Sept. 23, on the third floor of the Welch Family Wing.

Dr. Gregory Pais will lead the lecture. He shares his 39 years of nutritional experience to help people stay healthy and helps to make a difference in family health.

Pais is a licensed naturopathic doctor practicing in northcentral Pennsylvania since 1998. He’s board certified in classical homeopathy and has been working with diet and nutrition since 1974.

He will cover such questions that many have, such as, “How can I keep my kids healthy when they go back to school?,” “Is the flu vaccine the only thing I can do?,” and “What should I do when I get sick?”

He will discuss steps to take to prevent getting the flu; which natural therapies help in staying healthy during the flu season; if it’s possible to make it through the whole season without catching the flu; and what people can do to help their family stay healthy and maintain a strong immune system.

The program is free and open to the public. Registration is suggested but not required.

This educational opportunity at the James V. Brown Library is part of the statewide literacy initiative of PA Forward, helping libraries build communities one person at a time.
