DuBoistown Garden Club to hold Holiday House

The DuBoistown Garden Club will hold its annual Holiday House, “Celebrating 50 Years of Holiday House,” at Pennington Lounge, Lycoming College, Nov. 21, 22 and 23.

This traditional event will feature collection of decorating ideas for the holiday season. According to Holiday House chairperson, Rosalie Miller, Garden Club members have been working for months to present a large selection of exciting and innovative creations.

Included this year in Christmas Tree Lane will be a tree decorated by Williamsport Area High School students. There also will be 11 other theme trees featuring handmade decorations. There also are room theme room settings, table settings, wreaths, seasonal arrangements and a Garden Market.

Carolyn Cosentine, Susan Mahoney and Sharon Thompson are co-chairing the event. Holiday House Committee members are: Tula Avlonitis, Barbara Barnes, Carol Bonner, Millie Brennen, Lee Bryan, Georgie Bower, Rita Bower, Gladys Dapp, Nicole Hockman, Linda Kopysciansky, Carol LaRue, Hilda Lupold, Sue Miller, Mary Lou Missigman, Deb Robbins, Joyce Schramm, Edna Schooley, Virginia Schuman, Rebecca Stark, Beverly Stroble and Gina Turner.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Nov. 21 and 22 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 23.
