KidsPeace receives donation from chiropractic office
Dr. Jenifer DeWald of DeWald Chiropractic recently presented Rebecca Cade, family resource specialist for KidsPeace with a check for $1,000. This money was raised by the patients of DeWald Chiropractic during the third quarter of this year. Dr. DeWald and Dr. Brandon Fiedler donated first day services to new patients in exchange for a donation to KidsPeace. KidsPeace is a private charity dedicated to serving the behavioral and mental health needs of children, families and communities.
Founded in 1882, KidsPeace provides a unique psychiatric hospital, a comprehensive range of residential treatment programs, accredited educational services and a variety of foster care and community-based treatment programs, to help people in need overcome challenges and transform their lives.
“Our office really enjoys having the opportunity to give something back to the kids in our community and make a contribution to a good cause,” DeWald said. “This is our way of helping children in need and allowing everyone in our community the opportunity to experience the benefits of chiropractic care.”
During the month of December, DeWald Chiropractic will be team up with the American Red Cross to help give holiday support to our military and their families.
For a donation, new patients will receive a complete health history, chiropractic examination, and a report of the findings. DeWald and Fiedler encourage people to take advantage of this offer and call DeWald Chiropractic at 570-322-1776 to make an appointment.
DeWald Chiropractic is located at 1355 Four Mile Drive and can be found online or on Facebook at facebook.com/dewaldchiropractic.
