Victorian Country Christmas at Manley-Bohlayer House Dec. 7

EAST CANTON – The 15th annual Victorian Country Christmas will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Manley-Bohlayer House, located three miles east of Canton on Route 414 at East Canton Crossroad.

The event will feature a special guest from the North Pole from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and a variety of Christmas crafts and seasonal gifts, candles, cards, homemade candy, fruit and nut breads, custom-made jewelry, evergreen wreaths, maple syrup, gift baskets, handmade wooden items and hand-quilted Christmas ornaments.

Marie Kennedy and Gene Kenney are coordinating the event and are assisted by Marie Harkness, Marjorie Morse and Beverly Wright of the Manley-Bohlayer Heritage Farm Committee.

The decorating theme will be “An Old Fashioned Christmas.” Six rooms of the farmhouse will be decorated with traditional Christmas trees, wreaths and greenery.

Refreshments will be served. Guests of all ages are invited to attend the event. Admission is free.
