Williamsport Scottish Rite Masons celebrate 200th anniversary

The Valley of Williamsport, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Masons recently celebrated the 200th anniversary of Scottish Rite Masonry of the Northern Masonic Jurisdiction of the United States of America by conducting a Fall Reunion Class which was named in honor of past Commander-in-Chief Gregory C. Wenrich, 33rd Degree.

The purpose of the day long event is to initiate new members.

The event was held in the Scottish Rite Auditorium, Howard Memorial Cathedral, Acacia Club and the Lodge Room of the Williamsport Masonic Temple Association at the corner of Market and Fourth Streets, at which time 59 new Scottish Rite Masons received their degrees in Scottish Rite Masonry and became 32nd Degree Masons.

At the conclusion of the ceremonies a reception was conducted in the Acacia Club followed by the banquet which was attended by more than 160 Scottish Rite Masons and their ladies.
