Montgomery House Library to hold events
McEWENSVILLE – The Montgomery House Warrior Run Area Public Library, 20 Church St., will hold the following events:
Preschool Story Time – 11 a.m. April 2. The theme will be Numbers.
Quilters – 6:30 p.m. April 3 and 10. A local quilter will offer her skills and experience to others. Anyone who wishes to learn to quilt or to share their love of quilting is welcome.
Board meeting – 6:30 p.m. April 3. The monthly meeting of the Montgomery House Warrior Run Area Public Library’s board of directors is at the Watson Inn. All meetings are open to the public unless stated otherwise.
Bank on Books – 11 a.m. April 4. Stories, crafts and a snack will be provided.
Gadget Help – from noon to 2 p.m. April 5 and 29.
Learn how to connect to the Internet, manage library accounts online and download free books from ebranch2go.
Tech Help: Mobile Banking – 1 p.m. April 7 and 9. Discover how to deposit funds with a mobile device. Registration is required.
Rug hooking series – 1 p.m. April 8, 9 and 10. A local artisan will lead a group through a three-day series. Registration is required.
Book discussion group – 7 p.m. April 8. The book selection is “March,” by Geraldine Brooks. Next month’s choice is “Sycamore Row,” by John Grisham.
Preschool Story Time – 11 a.m. April 9. The theme is “People in your Neighborhood.”
Greeting Card Workshop – 6 p.m. April 10. Participants will create handmade greeting cards with Marilyn Schleppy. Registration is required.
Teen Zone – 6 p.m. April 11. The discussion will compare book and movie version of “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” by C.S. Lewis.
Registration is encouraged.
Easter egg hunt – 11 a.m. April 12.
The Easter egg hunt is for children in grades K-4. Registration is required.
