1st ‘Girly Mud Bash’ to be held May 31
A simple act of wanting to help a friend recently diagnosed with breast cancer turned into a muddy mess, but a good one.
The first Girly Mud Bash to benefit women battling breast and ovarian cancer will be held at 2 p.m. May 31 at Heshbon Park, 2840 Heshbon Road. The event will include vendors, live bands, Zumba and a lot of mud. The bash is a 3.5 mile course with 12 challenging obstacles.
Registration is available at Repeats Used Clothing, 1814 E. Third St. in the TJ Maxx Plaza, through May 10. Saturday registration days will include giveaways. Registration before the event is required. Event sponsors and volunteers still are needed for the event.
