American Cancer Society seeks cancer center volunteers
The American Cancer Society is in need of volunteers who are willing to talk with people about ACS services and programs at the Susquehanna Health Cancer Center.
Volunteers should have a few hours each week and be willing to visit with people while they’re waiting for cancer treatments. The Cancer Center hosts a site for the American Cancer Society so that people with cancer can receive direct access to information about how the Society can help them through their cancer journey. No experience is required, just a willingness to help others.
Training will be provided. If interested in volunteering, contact Jolie Gibson at 570-326-4149 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The American Cancer Society saves lives and creates more birthdays by helping people get well and stay well, by finding cures and fighting back. For more information or for help through a cancer journey, contact us at 800-227-2345 or online at cancer.org.
