Bibbidi-Bobbidi Book reading challenge at Herr Memorial Library

MIFFLINBURG – Herr Memorial Library presents “The Bibbidi Bobbidi Book Reading Challenge.” The reading challenge is open to children of all ages and will run now through June 7. The challenge is designed to encourage children to read more library books and challenge readers to step out of their comfort zones. The library will provide reading suggestions and include books with topics on royal life, kings, queens, princesses, princes, castles, tea parties, fairies, magic, crowns, dancing, knights, jewels and fairy tales, to name a few.

Children participating in the reading challenge must read, or be read to by a caregiver, at least 10 books. An entry form, complete with rules and reading suggestions, can be picked up at the circulation desk of the library. After the books are read and participants have completed an entry form noting their list of book titles, they can be turned in at the library circulation desk or children’s library area. There will be two winners who will get to select a prize from the prize basket and have their names mentioned in a future press release and on the library’s Facebook page.

For more information on “The Bibbidi Bobbidi Book Reading Challenge,” visit the circulation desk of the library, email Lorie Hernesh the children’s program coordinator, at lhernesh@herrlibrary.org or call 570-966-0831.
