Wine festival to be held May 31

BLOOMSBURG – The fourth annual Central Pennsylvania Wine Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds. The festival has grown to include more than 25 wineries and breweries.

Located in both the Industrial and Educational buildings, the event will feature more than 80 vendors including jewelery makers, artists, soaps, toe rings, henna tattoos, dips, mixes and purses.

There will be a DJ in one building and live music in another and a new wine check system to make it easy to buy wine and check it at the event.

Local food vendors, such as Bloomin BBQ and Wicked Wok, will be on hand outdoors and there will be live music by Doug McMinn and Todd Cummings. Attendees can bring a pop-up tent and chairs for the day.

All proceeds benefit community youth programs and community organizations.

Tickets are available at Shade Mountain Tasting Room, the Inn at Turkey Hill and Marley’s Brewery. Tickets also can be bought online at until Friday.

Tickets also will be available at the door. All guests will receive a complimentary wine glass to use during samplings from PA’s finest wineries.
