From my kitchen to yours: Baked corn

The following is a recipe submitted by Connie T. Brown, of Wellsboro:
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
3/4 cup milk (slightly heated)
1 can corn (drained)
1 can cream corn
2 tablespoons sugar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
3 eggs (beaten)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Pour both cans of corn into a large bowl. Add beaten eggs, butter, milk, flour, sugar, salt and pepper.
Pour into 1 quart buttered casserole dish.
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour (top should be slightly firm).
