Victorian Country Christmas to be held

EAST CANTON — The 18th annual Victorian Country Christmas will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 3 at the Manley-Bohlayer House, Route 414 at East Canton Crossroad. The south end of the house will be accessible with a parking area and ramp for the disabled.

The event will feature a visit from Santa from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and an opportunity for Christmas shopping. Christmas crafts, seasonal gifts, homemade candy, fruit and nut breads, custom-made jewelry, evergreen wreaths with red ribbon bows, handmade wodden items, burlap wreaths, handpainted Christmas ornaments, mesh ribbon wreaths, handcrafted snowmen and sleights, Avon products, handmade scarves, hats, mittens and slippers will be available to buy.

The decorating theme will be “Christmas in every corner,” and six rooms of the farmhouse will be decorated with Christmas trees, ornaments, candles, Santa figurines, Christmas stockings, evergreen wreaths and holiday arrangements.

Refreshments of homemade cookies and spiced cider will be available.

BVRA to host New

York City bus trip

LEWISBURG — The Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority will host the second annual New York City bus trip for the holidays at 7 a.m. Dec. 10 at the East Buffalo Township Building, 57 Reitz Blvd.

The bus will leave from the East Buffalo Township Building at 7 a.m. and arrive in New York City around 11 a.m.

Participants will be dropped off in front of Macy’s. The bus will depart from New York City at 7 p.m. and will return at the East Buffalo Township Building at 10:30 p.m.

There is a cost. Registration is required before Dec. 10.
