STEP to host Healthy Aging through Local Harvest classes

STEP will host a four-week session of Healthy Aging through Local Harvest at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 2, 9, 16 and 23 at the RiverWalk Center, 423 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport.

The events will include a hands-on cooking class aimed at seniors, which will showcase fresh ingredients and mindful nutrition habits.

Club to hold meeting

LEWISBURG — The Soroptimist International Club of Snyder, Union and Northumberland counties  will hold a meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Country Cupboard Restaurant.

Letittia Hobbs, Live Your Dream Award recipient, will join the club members.

Montoursville Garden

Club to hold meeting

MONTOURSVILLE — The Montoursville Garden Club will hold a meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Montoursville Presbyterian Church, 900 Elm St. Rachel Buedel from Ettinger’s Garden Center will present the program “Annuals and Perennials for the Late Summer Garden” to inspire the spring garden planning with emphasis on flowers that will be at their peak at the time of the annual Flower Show to be held on Aug. 3.

Yearbooks will be available for pick-up and yearly dues will be collected at the meeting.

Refreshments will be available.

The hostess committee will include Barbara Gallagher, Loretta Shimko, Joan Madden and Janet Jones.

The meeting is open to the public.
