Montoursville Garden Club to hold meeting
MONTOURSVILLE — The Montoursville Garden Club will hold a meeting at 1 p.m. March 2 at the Montoursville Presbyterian Church, 900 Elm St.
Sinclair Adams, trial director of the Pennsylvania State Trial Flower Gardens at the Southeast Agricultural Research ane Extension Center, in Manheim, will present a program on the best annual and perennial flowers and their varieties based on the evaluations of their performance in Pennsylvania growing conditions at the trial gardens.
Helena Volansky will be the hostess with Judy DeGregorio, Rosalie Miller and Barb Schmouder on the committee.
The meeting is open to the public.
Bingo fundraiser to be held
COGAN STATION — A bingo fundraiser will be held at 1 p.m. March 4 at Hepburn Township Fire Hall, Route 973. Doors open at noon.
The fundraiser will include games, prizes, food, drinks and raffles. Vendors will include LuLaRoe, Norwex, Rodan&Fields, DoTerra and Shakeology.
Tickets can be bought in advance for a discounted price or at the door.
Proceeds will benefit the Umstead family in their international adoption.
