Father’s Hope seeking donations
Father’s Hope, a Central Pennsylvania based nonprofit organization, is accepting donations to assist with the purchase of a new school bus for the Oasis de Amor orphanage in Choluteca, Honduras.
Kevin Mertz, Father’s Hope director, has made multiple visits to the orphanage over the last five years and became aware of the need for a new school bus through his visits.
The bus used to transport the approximately 30 children to school suffered a major mechanical failure last year. Since that time, the children had been transported to school in a small van, which also recently broke down.
Tax-deductible financial contributions to assist with the purchase of a new school bus for Oasis de Amore can be sent to: Father’s Hope, 9 Greenbriar Drive, Milton PA 17847. A note should accompany the donation, which states it is for the Oasis bus.
Since it was founded in 2012, Father’s Hope has reached more than 27,000 orphans or children in 19 countries.
