Chinese Auction raises over $8,400 for PACFI

The Pennsylvania Cystic Fibrosis, Inc. (PACFI) Annual Chinese Auction raised $8,494 for PACFI. The event draws people from surrounding counties and is known as one of the biggest and best in central Pennsylvania.

Tables were filled with 600 items including gift cards from retailers from central Pa., toys, tools, clothing, sports, furniture and baskets. Included were tickets to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Pittsburgh Zoo and Aquarium and Philadelphia Phillies. The auction was held at Eagles Lodge No. 503 in Sunbury and over 1,000 people attending during the ticket-selling.

Lisa Gordon, coordinator for PACFI, and her husband, Pete, organized the event with daughters, Kayla and Tiffany, son Ryan, who has cystic fibrosis (CF), and friends and volunteers.

PACFI is an independent, nonprofit and volunteer organization that provides services and support for Pennsylvania individuals and families affected by CF and funds some of the nation’s most progressive research.
