Pennsylvania Heritage Festival to be held
TROY — The PA Heritage Festival be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 15 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 16 at Alparon Park, 231 Gate 2 Lane.
The exhibits will include an American Girl Doll display; an 1800 version of a Snake Oil wagon, a Civil War battlefield hospital including surgeon, patient and Clara Baron, Dr. Guthrie and the earlier Guthrie medical facility; a middle 20th century hospital room with oxygen tent with a candy striper; nurse’s uniforms; school rooms from turn-of-the-last century to modern times.
The Roseville Ladies, including Kathleen England, Kathleen Ratches, Connie Parnick, Donna Lee Simpson and Pat Trantham, will be available for questions, comments or debate.
There is a cost for admission.
