RiverWoods welcomes new executive chef
LEWISBURG – RiverWoods Senior Living Community has welcomed Dan Frycklund as the new executive chef. Frycklund is tasked with overseeing meal preparation for the entire RiverWoods campus and meeting the dietary and nutritional needs of community members.
Frycklund has more than 18 years of experience in the culinary and food service industry, most of which has been in a senior living or healthcare setting. He grew up in Indiana, Pa., and is a graduate of Indiana High School and the Culinary Institute of America.
“We are excited to have Dan as a part of the RiverWoods team,” said Peter Stark, general manager of dining and culinary services. “He takes his job very seriously and the happiness of the residents and their families is always at the heart of his planning process.”
“You are only as good as the last meal you served,” Fryckland said. “I look forward to using my talents to enrich the lives of the residents at RiverWoods.”
RiverWoods Senior Living Community is owned and operated by Albright Care Services, a not-for-profit organization based in Lewisburg.
