The meadows schedules senior seminar series
The Meadows will host a Senior Seminar Series at their community, 2160 Warrensville Road, Montoursville. The seminars will be geared toward the senior population and those that care for them.
Depending on the topic, the seminar format may include lecture, question and answer time, screenings and risk assessments. The topics will vary and may include mental and physical health, fitness and beauty, finance, legal issues and end-of-life issues.
All seminars are free and open to residents, families and the public.
The two upcoming seminars are:
• Essential oils 101 — 10-11 a.m. April 26
Discover what defines an essential oil, the benefits and the top uses of essential oil and how to select a quality essential oil. Participants will receive recipes for oil diffusing and samples. Could essential oils be your path to lifelong emotional and physical wellness? Presented by Suzan Ecker, registered nurse.

Gain a better understanding of hospice, palliative care and advance care planning.
Presented by Dr. Alexander R. Nesbitt, medical director, UPMC Susquehanna Hospice and Palliative Care.
