RENOVO — Following successful sessions of the hands-on cooking class, Healthy Aging through Local Harvest, at the Clinton County Community Center and the RiverWalk Center, STEP’s Abbey Eschbach is rotating through all of STEP’s Centers for Healthy Aging, holding four consecutive weekly workshops at each one. In 2017, the classes already have been held in South Williamsport, Jersey Shore, Lock Haven and Loyalsock/Montoursville.

On July 26 and Aug. 2, 9 and 16, the classes will be held at the Lincoln Center in Williamsport; September’s classes will be at the George C. Meck Center in Muncy; October will see a return to the Clinton County Community Center; and the last session of 2017 will be held during November at the RiverWalk Center in South Williamsport.

The workshops are free, but registration is required. Participants will leave the class with new nutrition information, cooking skills, and recipes, plus a tote bag. Call the nearest center for more information or to sign up. Interested individuals also can call the class instructor at 570-601-9511.
