Lock Haven Summer Concert Series continues with McNett Country and Gas Station Disco

The McNett Country Band is looking forward to entertaining and sharing their music at this Friday’s concert in Triangle Park, beginning at 6 p.m.

The band was originally formed by the late Dean McNett. Sons, Timothy and Shawn McNett, continue featuring a variety of traditional country music and family entertainment.

The summer schedule of the band gets very busy and continues in the winter months, with many dances in various locations.

Collectively, the band members have performed onstage with many country music entertainers from Wheeling, W.Va., and Nashville, Tenn. The band is kept busy performing at fairs, social events, dances and private engagements.

Band members include: Timothy McNett (lead guitar, lead vocals, harmony, accordion, piano, clarinet and bass), Shawn McNett (bass, lead vocals, harmony, piano, and sax), Don Clark (steel guitar), Dave Preston (percussion) and Jimmy Lee Fletcher (lead guitar, vocals, harmony).

The concert is free but seating will not be provided. Therefore, the public is asked to bring lawn chairs.

Gas Station Disco

Gas Station Disco will perform on the Floating Stage at the J. Doyle Corman Amphitheater at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

In the short time since its formation, Gas Station Disco has rocketed to the forefront of the local scene, accelerated by its high-energy performances.

The band delivers a sing-out-loud brand of rock music intended to captivate the crowd and keep them partying all night long

Gas Station Disco has been featured on, “Spring Break Fever” on The Travel Channel and performed at the MTV Spring Break in Panama City Beach, Florida. Band members include: Rob Hampton on drums, Jonathan “Bug” Price on bass-vocals, and Jason Dumm, lead guitar-vocals.
