Lewisburg kicks off November with Stroll Through the Arts

LEWISBURG – Both the visual and the performing arts take center stage in historic downtown Lewisburg the first weekend in November as the Lewisburg Arts Council hosts the Fifteenth Annual Stroll Through the Arts weekend beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov 1.

The artists range from painters to potters to jewelers to photographers, all from the central Susquehanna Valley region. A silent art auction with more than 100 items will be held that evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 311 Market St. in conjunction with the Stroll Through the Arts. On Saturday, Nov. 2, various venues throughout downtown will have live bands playing. All bands are free and open to the public.

Hannah Bingman, Cherry Alley Cafe, 7-9 p.m.

Jina & Tom Rosencrans, Barnes and Noble Booksellers, 7-9 p.m.

Rustical Quality String Band, Brasserie Louis, 8-10 p.m.

Karen Nogle & Marc Tomeo, Mercado Burrito, 8-10 p.m.

Royal Benson, Temperance House, 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Folk Justice Band, Bull Run Tap House, 9 to 11 p.m.

PA Crude, Town Tavern, 10 p.m. – Midnight
