Millionaire ‘Strollers’ still entertaining crowds

The Millionaire Strolling Strings have had an exciting fall representing Williamsport Area High School at many well-attended functions throughout the area.

The Strolling Strings, directed by Matt Radspinner, entertained WAHS alumni at three class reunions this year. The classes of 1953, 1958 and 1963 all called on the Strolling Strings to offer entertainment for their reunion dinners.

Over the weekend of Oct. 18, the Strollers entertained the attendees of the Liberty Classic Band Festival, hosted here in the city.

The formal dinner took place at the Genetti Grand Ballroom and consisted of more than 100 guests from 10 states. The audience was quick to cheer and sing along.

Also in attendance at the event was band guest conductor, Col. Arnold Gabriel, the most decorated military musician in the history of the United States.
