Moshe Kasher to open for Aziz Ansari at MU
MANSFIELD – Comedian Moshe Kasher will be the opening act for Aziz Ansari when he brings his “Modern Romance” tour to Mansfield University’s Decker Gymnasium at 8 p.m. Sunday. Doors will open at 7 p.m.
Kasher has performed in concert, in comedy clubs and at festivals in the United States and internationally. He also has made several TV appearances, including performances on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” and “Conan.”
Kasher has also made several appearances as panelist on “Chelsea Lately” and was recognized by iTunes as “Top New Comedy Artist” of 2009.
One of the stars of the NBC comedy “Parks and Recreation,” Ansari is also one of the hottest stand-up comedians working today. His last tour, “Dangerously Delicious,” in the summer of 2013 sold out many of the venues he performed at.
On “Parks and Recreation,” now in its sixth season, Ansari plays Tom Haverford, Amy Poehler’s sarcastic and underachieving subordinate who considers himself an entrepreneur.
Tickets are on sale at the MU Campus Bookstore in Alumni Hall, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday or at mansfield.tix.com.
All tickets are general admission, with limited floor seating and bleacher seating.
