Exhibit shows work of Heffner, McKaig
LOCK HAVEN – The Station Gallery, 2 E. Bald Eagle St., recently opened a joint exhibit featuring paintings, drawings and prints by Ray Heffner and John McKaig. The works will be on display through May 24.
“Both Ray and John are not only exceptional artists but educators as well,” Steve Getz, Clinton County Arts Council board president, said. “They have worked professionally in the art field their entire lives and we are very honored to have both of them exhibit their work at The Station Gallery. We strive to show not only amazing art but also a variety of style, color, texture and subject matter to keep each exhibit unique. This collection gives insight into the boundless imagination of these two talented men. From the soft, ghostly edges of Ray’s charcoal drawings to John’s sharp contoured lines in his wood block prints, there is a harmony in their work yet a distinctive and personal approach by both.”
