LHU to present Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra

LOCK HAVEN – Lock Haven University, in partnership with the Clinton County Arts Council, will present the Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Price Auditorium, on campus at 401 N. Fairview St.

Douglas Meyer, music director, will lead the orchestra in a program of “Music From the Movies.”

Selections include:

Vivaldi: “Summer” from The Four Seasons, featuring Sally Williams Minnich, on violin

Copland: “Music from the Movies”

Mozart: Piano Concerto no. 21 in C (“Elvira Madigan”), featuring David Curtin, Lock Haven University professor, on piano

Sibelius: “The Swan of Tuonela”

All seating is reserved, and tickets are on sale at at (click on the “Pennsylvania Centre Orchestra at LHU” button). Tickets will be available at the door on a first come basis.
