Union County summer reading program kickoff to feature local musician KJ Wagner

MIFFLINBURG – Multi-album independent recording artist KJ Wagner will take center stage at the Union County Library System’s summer reading kick-off celebration, slated for 5 p.m.June 6 at the Mifflinburg Community Park, 120 N. Third St.

Wagner has established herself as a positive leaders and motivational musician within the U.S. folk circuit. She covers family concerts with such music CD projects as her “Simply Kids,” “Agriculture Is A BIG Word” (supported by the PA Dept. of Agriculture), and “Farms, Food & Fun!”

This year’s summer reading theme, “Fizz, Boom READ” is about all things science robots, experiments, geology and more. During the kick-off celebration, kids can check out the experiment stations, explore science with Mr. B the Science Guy and find out about spark opportunities in their community.
