June First Friday events announced
The following events will be held for First Friday on June 6:
Corner of Fourth and Pine streets – First Friday Outside will feature music by the Uptown Music Collective.
Converge Gallery, 140 W. Fourth St. – “ArtNow NY,” curated by Joseph Gross, featuring works by Ted Lawson, Ivory Serra, Mia Tyler, Peter Gronquist, James Scott, Jesse Hotchkiss, Jesse Kramer, David Ortiz, David Hale & Kris D, Joseph Grazi, John Felix Arnold III, Jessica Croccia, Lupe, D Young V, Tracy Piper, Joe Mangrum, 2E, James Charles, Chor Boogie, Apex and Chris RWK.
Otto Bookstore, 107 W. Fourth St. – Otto Book Store will host four authors from 5 to 8 p.m. Beth Fantaskey will sign her young adult mystery, “Buzz Kill.” Lorena Beniquez will draw from her writings to show guests how to promote a self-published book. Walter Brasch will sign his new, expanded edition of “Fracking Pennsylvania: Flirting with Disaster.” Clyde Peeling will sign his new biography, “Reptiland: How a Boyhood Dream Became a Modern Zoo.”
Peter Herdic House, 407 W. Fourth St. – “Absinthe Makes the Heart Grow Fonder” menu with absinthe flights to compare different liqueurs.
Community Theatre League, 100 W. Third St. at 7:30 p.m. – Open Stage. Admission is free. CTL’s open mic night will feature performances from the Susquehanna Jam Crackers, Sara Bartholomew Scott, Austin Boroch, and several others.

Patinaz, 38 W. Fourth St. – Third birthday celebration with artist showcases featuring Bejou Designs by Beth Armanda, Mason Jar Apparel by Jessica Russell and Mountain Meadow Soaps. Live music by JamMan & Sky.
Eagle Rock Winery, 414 W. Fourth Street – Originals and prints by David Armstrong on display.
