Kammermusik Main Line to perform

EAGLES MERE – Eagles Mere Friends of the Arts will present Kammermusik Main Line at 8 p.m. July 6, at the David DeWire Center, Laporte and Allegheny avenues.

Founded by Philadelphia Trio cellist Deborah Reeder, Kammermusik’s goal is to present varied programs of works from the chamber music (i.e., kammermusik) literature for interesting instrumental combinations.

The program will feature Reeder along with soprano Melanie Sarakatsannis, flutist Diane Gold Toulson and classical guitarist Allen Krantz. They will perform works by Handel, Mozart, Ibert, Villa-Lobos and others.

This will be a return visit for all performers. Sarakatsannis, Toulson and Reeder appeared in the summer of 2013, while Krantz last played in Eagles Mere in 1995. Toulson is currently based in State College and is a busy performer and teacher throughout the state. The others are based in the Philadelphia area with active playing and teaching careers.

Tickets will be on sale at the door. For more information visit www.EMFOA.org or call 570-525-3176.
