County Historical Society to host the Red Arrow Singers

The Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society,858 W. Fourth St., will host its fourth Society Program, featuring the Red Arrow Singers, at 2 p.m. Sunday.

The program will combine Native American-style drumming, story-telling and a “fancy dancer.”

The Red Arrow Singers perform a number of activities which promote the preservation of Native American culture, including traditional story-telling, flute music, “fancy dancing” and traditional Native American-style drumming. Member Scott Atherton recently instructed the History Day Camp students at the museum in several basic drumming techniques.

The program is free and open to the public.
