First Friday events include pop-up art gallery, dancing

September’s First Friday, which will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. tomorrow, is full of events for the whole family. With a new format on West Fourth Street that focuses on fine arts, patrons can expect everything from a sidewalk art sale to a pop-up art gallery.

Events for the evening include:

Music by “CollegeTown,” featuring musicians from Penn College and Lycoming College; corner of Fourth and Pine streets.

First Friday Featured Artist Damon McCloskey; corner of William and West Fourth streets.

“Absence of Evidence,” by Anthony Cervino; Converge Gallery, 140 W. Fourth St.

“Ghosts in the Smoke,” by Liz Parrish; CG Projects, 140 W. Fourth St.

“Open Stage,” 7:30 p.m.; the Community Theatre League, 100 W. Third St.

Jay Paterno book signing, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; Otto’s Bookstore, 107 W. Fourth St.

“Our Beloved Community” children’s artwork; City Hall, 245 W. Fourth St.
