Top male gospel group Gospel Bond to return to Community Theatre League

The Community Theatre League, 100 W. Third St., again will host central Pennsylvania’s top all-male gospel group, Gospel Bond, in a performance at 7:30 p.m. April 23.

Gospel Bond made their CTL debut last season and they are back for another great evening of old-time gospel harmony. Based out of Selinsgrove, the group of eight sings harmony and is backed by a live band. Gospel Bond has been together for 16 years, traveling all over Pennsylvania and into Ohio, New York, West Virginia and Maryland.

The concert will feature songs from some of their six albums and many from their newest release, “Meet Me at the Table.” The group is well-known for songs such as “The Long Black Train,” “Nail it to the Cross,” “In the Sweet By and By” and more.

Members of Gospel Bond include Abram Hoffman, of Mifflintown; Chris Kauffman, of Beavertown; Darren Kauffman, of Reedsville; Dave Park, of Selinsgrove; George Fury, of Shamokin Dam; Jeff Yerger and Luke Hoffman, of Mt. Pleasant Mills; and Merle Kauffman, of Burnham.
