Hamilton-Gibson presents ‘A Christmas Carol’

WELLSBORO — Hamilton-Gibson Productions, the Fifth Season and Indigo Xtreme Internet are offering seven performances of one of the world’s most enduring stories.

On Dec. 3, Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” will be performed at 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Coolidge Theatre in the Deane Center, 104 Main St. by one cast and at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Warehouse Theatre, 3 Central Ave., by the second cast. At 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4, will be the seventh and last performance in the Warehouse Theatre.

New to the Warehouse Theatre cast is 11-year-old Bryson Fuhrer, son of Jessica and Brandon Fuhrer, who plays Tiny Tim, the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come and other roles and is a narrator. A sixth grader at Westfield Area Elementary School, Bryson played Mowgli in the school drama club’s production of “The Jungle Book.” He also has performed in Hamilton-Gibson’s Winter Theatre Arts Camp productions of “Dear Edwina, Jr.” and “The Phantom Tollbooth, Jr.” Currently, Bryson has a small role in the H-G play, “Miracle on 34th Street.”
