Freynik and Trip the Light drummer Keith Bashnick, who also works at the Bullfrog, helped to plan the event.

“The inspiration for this is solely based upon the day it falls on — Valentine’s Day and the love and joy that surrounds it,” Bashnick said. “I happen to work at the Bullfrog Brewery, and in doing so, I know the quality of what the Bullfrog and Jeremiah’s provide to our community.”

In addition to Bashnick and Freynik, the band features Kato Clark on keyboards, Rod Chubb on guitar, Darrell Hughes on bass, Tedd Kipp on trombone, Dee Waddell and Jeff Johnson on saxophones, and Dave Sorgen on trumpet.

The dance party will be offering delicious in-house made, festive desserts made by the Bullfrog’s fabulous own pastry chef and baker Kacy.

There will also be festive specialty drinks and the Bullfrog’s delicious craft beer.

“Our expectation is providing a fun romantic evening for people 18 years and up to join us and dance the night away,” Bashnick said.

“We are excited to host this sweetheart event and looking forward to sharing our soulful sounds with all you lovers out there!” Freynik said. “What a better way to spend Valentine’s Day than dancing the night away with your sweetheart to the funky grooves and smooth soulful sounds that are Trip the Light.”
