Art organizations come together for dual show

Every year the Bald Eagle Art League had a Best of BEAL Art Exhibition showing off the best artwork that the members exhibit. It’s always been the best show of the season. Four years ago, Steve Getz of the Clinton County Arts Council (CCAC) met with Mickey Mapstone of the Bald Eagle Art League (BEAL) and they decided to try a joint show involving artists from both leagues. It is a juried show with well-known artists and art educators as the jurors and the winning artists are awarded beautiful rosette ribbons. BEAL will host this year at the Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society, 858 W. Fourth St. This year’s exhibit will be on display at the Taber Museum Friday through April 9.
