3rd annual Endless Mountain Film Festival to be held
WELLSBORO — The Third annual Endless Mountain Film Festival is a three-day event at the Arcadia Theater, 50 Main St. At 10 to 11:30 a.m. Sept. 14. Filmmakers welcome at the theater and ends at 11:20 p.m. with the last talkback of the day. On Sept. 15, the first screening will be at 11:30 a.m. and last talkback will end at 10:55 p.m. On Sept. 16, the first screening begins at 10:30 a.m., award ceremony at 7:30 p.m. and the closing night party is from 8:30 p.m. to midnight.
Films will only be shown once and presented in the flexible theater in the Arcadia. There will be a set up of chairs and tables for audience members viewing one film or staying for the day.
The public is invited to screen 12 full-length feature films and documentaries, running about 61 minutes to two hours, and 32 shorts, running five to 30 minutes. These 46 films cover a variety of topics. Shorts are presented in eight separate screening blocks based on whether they are documentaries, comedies, horror/thrillers, dramas, faith-based, web series, TV pilot or student films.
15-minute talkbacks will follow each of the 20 screenings to give filmmakers an opportunity to talk about their work and hear audience comments.
Those who purchase a VIP pass can attend the entire festival, including the welcome party for filmmakers on Sept. 14, all 46 films screens from Sept. 14 to 16 and the awards show and closing night party.
A day pass is good for one day. Included is the feature length films, documentaries and short film blocks shown that day. If it’s Friday, the pass includes the filmmaker welcome, or if it’s Sunday it includes the awards ceremony and after party.
A film pass includes one feature-length film or short film block of the viewer’s choice.
